Scott T grew up in Bayside, New York listening to Gene Autry, Hank Williams, Sons of the Pioneers, Merle Haggard, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Merle Travis, Chet Akins, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, Doc Watson, Happy and Artie Traum, Classic Opera, and of course Jazz. He was a founding member of several string bands including Crystal River, Pony Express, and The Reptile Ramblers.
He regularly performs throughout the United States. and has performed in Canada, Philippines, and Australia.
He has shared the stage with Rusty Richards, Dave Stamey, Belinda Gail, Joni & Oliva Harms, Juni Fisher, Doyle Dykes, Eric Cutshall, Eric Gorsuch, Almeda Bradshaw, Carolyn and Dave Martin, Jerry Hall and Trick Shot, Kenny Blackwell, Michael O’Dorn, Fred Sokolow, Bob Saxton, and many musician friends. He is working on new album of Western and Gospel tunes to be released February 2023.
When not traveling and sharing his music, he lives in beautiful downtown Garden Grove, CA.
